As we grow our perspectives change. That doesn’t mean that the old perspective disappears over night as the new one arrives.
There is generally a transition period between something leaving and something new coming. There is a process of letting go and embracing what is there now. The new perspective requires it to be experienced and lived to fully align with it, while the old will lingers and pops out any chance it gets, craving the life it knows already.
The more the push forward towards the new the further away the old becomes until finally you no longer see it when looking back.
There will be points that you feel contradicted within. For instance one part of you feeling guilty, while another part of you knows you have nothing to feel guilty about.
The more focus given to the feeling guilty or avoiding it the more the guilt grows and the worse you feel.
The more you focus on whatever else is going on in your life that feels good, the further away the guilt is without brining any attention to it.
Yes the transition is uncomfortable yet without it there is no growth, which means there is no change.
New perspectives bring in the change that you have been wanting and working towards.
If you are experiencing new perspectives then I have to commend you in your efforts and offer a round of applause because it is not the easiest to move away from what we know but you are and have, life can only become more and more of what it is you are creating. You are doing an amazing job of walking forwards and letting go.
Trust in your efforts and in yourself, be patient with yourself, you got this!
